TypeThe ICT integration project was designed to enable students to explore the range of ICT tools prevalent within the community. It taught us how to efficiently use the ICT tools available so that we can encorporate them into our teaching practices. Given the generation of kids we face at schools today, who are completely reliant on such technology. Therefore we as teachers need to teach them in a way that exploits their strengths and abilities in ICT. This project demonstrates to use the huge range of ICT tool currently out there. It is important that we are able to have a sound understanding of the various tools and more importantly develop the skills and knowledge that permits us to easily and efficiently use them in our own classrooms. We need to demonstrate to students that computers can be used to help them with their learning and not just for leisure and fun. The creation of a wikispace provides teachers with another way to deliver content and lessons to students, these can also be used as an additional resource for students so that they can work at their own pace. ICT tools are continually being emphasised in the curriculum and we as teachers need to adapt to these changes. This project highlights this point.
The topic that we will be looking at deals with one
of your page here.the many natural but vitally important resources in Australia.. water. The assignment focuses on the issues surrounding australia's water supply. We will go through 4 lessons that will include a range of ICT-based acitivites which the teacher will use as a means of delivering content.
